The new name reflects how the company has evolved to meet the needs of AI data centers.
The Karman platform, powered by a custom NVIDIA module, was first launched to unlock the stranded value of distributed energy resources and enhance grid resiliency. Over the past year, the same technology has found its most urgent application inside data centers where power availability has become the binding constraint on growth and concern for power providers.

Karman is embedded directly into power infrastructure to monitor power conditions in real-time, delivering unprecedented levels of visibility and control to unlock stranded power capacity and allows operators to fully utilize the power available to them. Karman’s first commercial deployment with NexGen Cloud is currently operating in an Enovum data center in Montreal to unlock stranded capacity.
