NEW YORK, Oct. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Change.org today named Steve Dziedzic President. Dziedzic, the company's Chief Product Officer since 2024, will lead the platform's growth and operations as it rolls out the AI-enabled petition tools at the center of the $100 million investment announced earlier this month.

"I've spent my career building products that help people repair relationships, and now I'm taking on the biggest one yet: the relationship between people and democracy," said Dziedzic. "If you've ever felt like your voice doesn't matter, we're building this for you."

As Chief Product Officer, Dziedzic led the rebuild of Change.org's petition tools, growing citizen-funded revenue by more than 50% and doubling the number of elected officials responding to petitions. Before joining Change.org, he founded Lasting, one of the most-used couples therapy products in America, and served as Chief Product Officer at Talkspace as it made mental healthcare available to more than 150 million people.

Founder Ben Rattray will remain closely involved with the platform while leading the Change.org Foundation, which over the past year has provided early funding to new, nonpartisan civic tech efforts.

"Steve has spent the last two years rebuilding the core product of Change.org, and there's no one better to lead us into our next chapter," said Rattray. "I'm looking forward to partnering with him on what comes next while I focus on new ways for people to participate in democracy."

The platform's new tools, which began rolling out this year, are designed to make it easier for anyone to start a petition, reach decision makers to act and see results. Most petitions on Change.org are local (59%) and nonpartisan (62%).
