Martinez, Esq., a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer with more than three decades of experience and over 140 jury trials to verdict, has joined the firm as a Senior Criminal Defense Attorney.

Born in Cuba and raised in South Florida, Martinez brings a powerful combination of lived experience and legal expertise to her work defending people facing some of the most serious charges in the system. She has tried more than 110 felony jury trials and has been Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by The Florida Bar since 1995, the Bar's highest credential in criminal trial practice.

Most recently, Martinez served as Criminal Division Manager for the Office of Regional Conflict Counsel in Palm Beach County, where she led the criminal division while maintaining a serious-felony caseload, including capital matters. Before that, she ran her own West Palm Beach defense practice for nearly 20 years and previously tried serious felonies as an Assistant Public Defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit.
