The acclaimed modern American steakhouse debuts its first Mexico location in Polanco

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovative Dining Group (IDG), the hospitality group behind legacy brands BOA Steakhouse, Sushi Roku, and Katana, announces the arrival of BOA Steakhouse in Mexico with the opening of its new location on Goldsmith Street in Polanco.

The opening marks an important milestone in IDG's international expansion as the group continues to introduce its restaurant concepts to new markets. BOA recently expanded with three new US locations in under three years, with openings in Austin, Las Vegas, and Napa.

Since opening its first restaurant in West Hollywood in 2001, BOA Steakhouse has become known for its thoughtfully sourced ingredients, signature tableside preparations, striking design, and lively, social atmosphere. Its Mexico City debut reflects IDG's commitment to growth in a city celebrated for its dynamic culinary scene and culture.

"Mexico has held a very special place in my heart since childhood, and some of my happiest memories are tied to this country," said Lee Maen, Founder and CEO of Innovative Dining Group. "Bringing BOA to Mexico City is deeply meaningful to me, both personally and professionally. The city has an extraordinary dining scene, an incredible energy, and culture where the dinner table becomes a place for meaningful connections, memorable conversations, and moments that bring people closer together. Those are values we share and are central to BOA. We're excited to introduce our vision of the contemporary American steakhouse to a city with such a strong culinary identity, bringing together cuisine, hospitality and experiences meant to be shared."

BOA Mexico City's culinary program is led by Brendan Collins, the brand's executive chef. Influenced by California cuisine, Collins has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in London and at acclaimed Los Angeles establishments including Waterloo & City, Fia and Market Tavern.

Steaks take center stage, with selections from Creekstone Farms and Australian Wagyu from Westholme, alongside large-format cuts for sharing, including the Tomahawk and Brooklyn-Style Porterhouse. Other offerings include a 15-Day Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye and Japanese A5 Wagyu flight that includes Miyazaki, Iwate, and Hokkaido prefectures, available as a tasting that showcases the distinctive characteristics of each region. Sides include the Loaded Baked Potato, Mac and Cheese, and Mashed Potatoes with options to add truffle or lobster to either.

Opening bites include classic Parker House Rolls, Tuna Cones with caviar and gold leaf, and Hamachi Crudo with preserved Meyer lemon, black truffle, and celery. Appetizers blend steakhouse favorites with ingredients and techniques from a range of culinary traditions. Highlights include Goat Cheese Baklava with pistachios, frisée, and black truffle, Wagyu Meatballs in pomodoro sauce, Roasted Bone Marrow with short rib, and Hokkaido Scallop baked in its shell with garlic butter, breadcrumbs, and grilled lemon. BOA's signature Caesar Salad is prepared tableside with their legendary recipe.

Mexico City specialties include Josper-Grilled Striped Bass served Baja taco-style with chipotle and heirloom corn tortillas; a Wagyu Gordita with black lime, avocado, sour cream, and aged cheddar; and Lobster Fra Diavolo with spaghetti made in-house fresh every day, San Marzano tomatoes, and Calabrian chili.

The cocktail program features signature cocktails including the popular Smoke Show, made with Wild Turkey Rye whiskey and hints of cherrywood smoke; the Jade Spritz, which combines espadín mezcal, Lillet Blanc, and prosecco; and the Fashion Forward, prepared with Toki whisky and charred orange. Reinterpretation of the classic Espresso Martini and nonalcoholic selections made with fresh, tropical ingredients to round out the menu.

With its Mexico City debut, BOA Steakhouse introduces a destination where cuisine, design and hospitality come together in an energetic, social setting. BOA offers an experience beyond the table, making every visit a way to come together and celebrate.
